ตัวอย่างประโยคสนทนาเบื้องต้น

·         Do you have an appointment with Doctor? คุณได้นัดคุณหมอไว้ไหมครับ

·         Have you any  problem? คุณเป็นอะไรหรือครับ

·         What ‘s the matter ?  เป็นอะไรครับ

·         Please wait in the waiting room and I’ll Call you the moment the doctor is free. กรุณารอที่ห้องรอตรวจ เพื่อรอคุณหมอเรียก

·         Let me feel your pulse and check your fever. ขอตรวจดูชีพจรและเช็คไข้หน่อยครับ

·         Let me take your temperature. ขอวัดอุณหภูมิร่างกายหน่อย

·         Your temperature is 40.5 degrees °C.

·         I  feel headache and shivering.  ฉันรู้สึกปวดหัว และหนาวสั่น

·         I couldn’t sleep as well. ฉันนอนไม่หลับเลย

·         My child is running a fever. ลูกชายผมเป็นไข้

·         How long has he had a fever?  เขาเป็นไข้นานเท่าไรแล้วครับ

·         I am afraid he is sick. ฉันกลัวว่าเขาจะเป็นไข้

·         Where does it hurt?  เจ็บตรงไหน

·         Does it hurt when I press here?   หมอกดตรงนี้เจ็บไหม

·         Don’t worry, there is nothing serious. ไม่ต้องกังวลครับ อันนี้ไม่รุนแรง

·         I am giving you the medicine, and you will be all right in a few days. หมอจะให้ยาไปทาน คุณจะหายภายในสองสามวัน

·          I’ll give you a prescription.  หมอจะให้ใบสั่งยาคุณ

·         Thank you, doctor. ขอบคุณครับ คุณหมอ

·         This is your medical certificate. นี่คือใบรับรองแพทย์ของคุณ

·         Take this medicine and rest. รับประทานยานี้ แล้วพักผ่อน

·         Take two pills of paracetamol every four hours.  รับประทานพาราเซ็ตตามอลครั้งละ 2 เม็ดทุก ๆ 4 ชั่วโมง

·         You’ll feel better in a while.  คุณจะรู้สึกสบายขึ้นในไม่ช้า

·         Get well soon. ขอให้หายเร็วๆ

·         ประโยคสอบถามอาการ

·               What are your symptoms? อาการของคุณเป็นอย่างไรบ้าง
      Do you have a headache? คุณมีอาการปวดศีรษะไหม
      Do you have fever/high temperature? ตัวร้อนหรือไข้ขึ้นไหม
      How do you feel now? ตอนนี้คุณรู้สึกอย่างไร
      Did you get hurt? คุณเจ็บหรือเปล่า

·         การตอบสำนวนที่ใช้จะมีดังนี้

      I feel sick. ฉันรู้สึกไม่สบาย
      I am all right now. ตอนนี้ฉันสบายดี
      I”m much better. ฉันดีขึ้นมากเลย
      I have a headache/toothache. ฉันปวดหัว/ปวดฟัน
      I have a stomachache/backache. ฉันปวดท้อง/ปวดหลัง
      I have a sore eye/throat. ฉันเจ็บตา/เจ็บคอ
      I have a cold. ฉันเป็นหวัด
      I have a slight fever. ฉันเป็นไข้นิดหน่อย
      I feel chilly/dizzy. ฉันรู้สึกหนาวสั่น/มึนหัว
